Eugenia Felicia Lopez

Eugenia Felicia Lopez Dominguez was born in Cuba on March 26, 1924 in the province of Matanzas. She lived there most of her young life, before having met the love of her life, and surely husband to be, Nicanor Brito Moreno. She then moved to Havana, and lived there until 1991 when they immigrated to the United States, New Jersey to be exact. Eugenia lived there a short time before she and her family moved to Miami, for a few years before her husband's passing. After Nicanor passed away, she moved to North Port, with her son and his family, until her passing on February 15, 2022. She was 97 years old. She is survived by her loving son Adel Brito, her daughter in law Nati as well as her grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews, as well as her ex-daughter in laws, Carmen and Virginia. Eugenia was the cherished grandmother of Alain, Abdel, Carlos, Marilyn, Adel Jr, and Ailene. She was also the adored great grandmother of twelve, as well. Eugenia was not only an amazing mother and grandmother, but an excellent daughter, sister, wife, great aunt and great grandmother, friend, as well as a faithful Christian, always available to help anyone in need. She was known to be a lover of cooking, singing, reading and participating in her church as well as spending as much time as she could with her family. Her memory will be cherished forever, as she will always be in our thoughts and hearts, always to be remembered, full of love. Eugenia Felicia López Domínguez nació en Cuba el 26 de marzo de 1924 en la provincia de Matanzas. Vivió allí la mayor parte de su joven vida, antes de conocer al amor de su vida, y seguramente futuro esposo, Nicanor Brito Moreno. Luego se mudó a La Habana y vivió allí hasta 1991 cuando emigraron a los Estados Unidos, Nueva Jersey para ser exactos. Eugenia vivió allí poco tiempo antes de que ella y su familia se mudaran a Miami, durante unos años antes de la muerte de su esposo. Tras el fallecimiento de su esposo, se mudó a North Port, con su hijo y su familia, hasta su fallecimiento el 15 de febrero de 2022. Tenía 97 años. Le sobreviven su amado hijo Adel Brito, su nuera Nati, así como sus nietos, bisnietos, sobrinas y sobrinos, así como su ex nuera, Carmen y Virginia. Eugenia fue la adorada abuela de Alain, Abdel, Carlos, Marilyn, Adel Jr y Ailene. También era la adorada bisabuela de doce hijos. Eugenia no solo fue una madre y abuela increíble, sino una excelente hija, hermana, esposa, tía y bisabuela, amiga, además de una fiel cristiana, siempre disponible para ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesitara. Era conocida por ser una amante de la cocina, cantar, leer y participar en su iglesia, además de pasar todo el tiempo que podía con su familia. Su memoria será atesorada por siempre, como siempre estará en nuestros pensamientos y corazones, siempre para ser recordada, llena de amor.
