We were so sad to hear that Tiger had passed away! We met him in the early 1980's when he put the septic tank in at the Dairy Bar. We remember him giving our oldest son George, then about 2 rides on his tractor. He was such a genuinely nice person. When we bought Fish Tales he, his wife Gay Ann and daughter Kirsten became regular customers and liked by our whole staff. He loved his family, would always be there for people if they needed help, and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gay Ann and family. We lost another good one,!

I met Robin in 1973. Through the Odom family who used to be my neighbors in North Carolina.. Right off the bat I knew he had a kind heart and a generous infectious smile.. He was the warmest, most caring man I knew here.Always had time to say hello.. Robin,, you will be sorely missed.. My prayers to the family.. and extended family and all his many friends.. Rest in Peace Robin..

I believe I met Tiger through one of my uncles, Don or Pete Picard, who were Jaycees in the 1970's. I was a teenager then, and Marathon was a much smaller, tightknit community. Later on I began contracting and would see Tiger on many jobsites where he would be doing excavating work or be digging septic tank holes. He became a fixture, driving his backhoe up and down Marathon, almost daily. To me, he was one of those rare fellas that never seemed to have a bad attitude. Always smiling, always a kind word. I will miss him.
