Oswald D Mora's Obituary
Osvaldo Mora was born in Cuba on October 9, 1944 and was proud to consider himself a Cuban American.
As a teenager, he came to the US as a Pedro Pan child. As a young adult he drove a cab to put himself through college. His life was full of hard work, family & service to others. He was very proud of the many years he helped his community as a volunteer EMT in New Jersey, where he would serve after a long hard day of work.
He loved to travel, was very patriotic, and loved this country. In his later years, he enjoyed playing dominoes every weekend with a great group of guys he considered his friends.
He adored his parents, Jose & Mercedes Mora, his sister Elsa (Ruiz), and his brother-in-law, Marcos Ruiz. He is survived by his daughters Patricia (Marshall) & Christine Mora, his granddaughters Rebeca Marshall and Julia Mora Coffey, nieces Elsy (Palacios), Raquel (Rodriguez), and nephew Marcos Ruiz, and also his fiancée and the love of his life, Vivian Salort.
He is dearly loved & will be missed tremendously!
His family has arranged a viewing on Wednesday April 5th, 2023,
from 10:00am to 1:30pm, with a religious service scheduled at noon.
At 1:30pm we will be departing from the funeral home to the cemetery,
for a 2pm burial at Miami Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers Osvaldo requested donations to Orphanages or Animal Shelters.
