Juan Leonel Valdes' Obituary
Our beloved father Juan Leonel Valdes passed away at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Zoraida Gato Valdes.
One of his proudest personal achievements was to become a rancher, it was a lifelong dream. He loved to speak about cattle, ranching, rodeo, and bull riding. He knew no stranger as he always engaged in conversation with everyone and discussed any topic. He always referred to himself as ‘The Bible’…ask him anything and he would have an answer.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents Lazaro and Maria Luisa Valdes, brothers Carlos and Gilberto Valdes
He is survived his children Beatriz Valdes (TX), Jorge L. Valdes and wife Kathy (FL), Leticia Valdes Graves and husband Greg (TX). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, John Valdes and wife Dena, Bryce Valdes and wife Courtney, Zachary Valdes and wife Catie, William R Graves and Katherine Graves.
Visitation will be at Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home Monday, August 11th at 11:00a.m. followed by funeral services at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. located at 11411 NW 25th Street, Miami, Florida.
