Elizabeth Crowther's Obituary
Elizabeth Crowther, 83, of Miami, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1942, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Elizabeth devoted her life to faith, family, and teaching. In her early years of ministry, she spent five years in South Africa as a missionary, raising children and serving wherever she was needed. Upon returning to the United States, she answered her lifelong calling as an educator, spending the rest of her career shaping young minds and touching countless lives in the classroom. Even in her later years, Elizabeth, known by those closest to her as Betty, remained deeply involved with her church family continuing to advocate for foreign missions while also helping out with various other ministries in the church. She also faithfully led a women’s Bible study at a local assisted living facility until her final months, encouraging others with her wisdom, faith, and warmth. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, William; her sons, Samuel, David, and Daniel; and her cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Rade, Liev, and Conor. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to her family and all who knew her.
