I met Betty when I was first saved, we sang in choir together. She was such a friend who helped through a very difficult time in my life and helped me grow as a Christian. I will miss her dearly but I know I will see her again. My thoughts and prayers for the family. ♥️🙏🏼 Carmen Motta Whitney.

Today we memorialized and celebrated my Mom’s life. I was genuinely moved by the stories people shared and the impact she had on so many lives. Mom emanated joy. She loved life, loved God and loved people.
Mom’s treasures were truly the people in her life. People that crossed her path were impacted by her genuine interest and care for them. I feel so lucky that I got to be her son.
I’m going to miss her so much. The world is going to miss her special light. Those of us who knew and loved her are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to walk part of this journey with her.

I have known Betty for many years. I remembered her singing in the choir. She served as a teacher at CRCA and in Awana. One interesting to me about Betty and Paul is that they share the same anniversary as my parents, but only a year or two later. Noemia and I visited Betty in the hospital just before we moved to NC (home for me). She had a hard time putting words together and admitted such. She told us she was remembering the past and counting her blessings. She will be missed.

Betty was such a good and faithful Christian. I enjoyed getting to know her at Florida Christian School and at First Baptist Church of Cutler Ridge. She always had a huge heart for Missions!

Betty was such a faithful servant of the Lord. I enjoyed getting to know her at Florida Christian School , and Furst Baptist Church of Cutler Ridge. Her love for Missions was always evident. I am sure she heard, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant” from her Lord Jesus.

There is not enough good things to say about Betty. She and Paul were amazing examples to my family and our church on how to live a Godly life. She cared about missions more than almost anyone I've ever met.
She cared about people, she cared about the church, and she was always involved. And when she disagreed, she still would push towards serving God in unity with the rest of the church.
I will miss having her hunt me down to make sure I mentioned missions in the announcements, to make sure that we were going to be at an event, or just to tell us how much she liked our family.
She was often late, and would smile when I pointed it out - but she was one of the most faithful members to church I've ever seen in my life. She was an example to all of us. We served on the pulpit committee together, and I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven greatly.
