Zenia Rua Perez's Obituary
Zenia Rua Perez was born in 1930 and raised in Havana, Cuba.
In Havana, she studied bookkeeping, married and started her beloved family. In 1967, she came to the United States where she embraced her South Florida community and continued her life-long support of her beloved Episcopal Church.
She worked as a bookkeeper to support her family and was active with Holy Comforter church. Zenia was a dedicated parishioner who served as its Treasurer and was a member of the choir as well as an enthusiastic “front row” congregant for weekly services.
Zenia is survived by her two loving daughters Ruth Perez Kim and Zenia A. Perez. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughter Alexis Kim and her loving son-in-law Yong S. Kim. Her burial will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be donated to the following:
