Xenia Agustina Azor's Obituary
Xenia “Kenia” Azor passed away peacefully in hospice care on July 8, 2026, at the age of 99. She is preceded in death by husband Emilio, and three sisters Olga, Yolanda, & Oilda. Born in Santo Suárez, Cuba, on April 22, 1927, Kenia immigrated to the United States in 1961 with her husband and their one-year-old son. The family settled in Miami Beach, where Kenia lived in the same apartment on 15th Street and Lenox Avenue for more than 50 years. She is survived by her sons, Jorge (Diana) Azor and Carlos (Maria) Azor; her grandson Alex Azor and large extended family and friends. Kenia was a friend to all who encountered her, known for her care, compassion, and fierce loyalty.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. Kenia will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Section J, 11411 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172.
