William Everett Hall's Obituary
William Hall of Homestead, Florida, formally of Gloucester, Ma passed away at his home in Florida on November 13th 2022. Bill was born in Gloucester and attended Gloucester schools, graduating from Gloucester High School in 1965. He was musically talented and played many instruments. As a teenager he formed a band, “The Wanderers” that went on to win many competitions. His lifelong interest in music continued into his retirement years in Florida where he built and restored musical equipment for his own pleasure.
After graduating from high school Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he became an aircraft machinist. This skill took him to many different locations around the world, including a tour of duty in Vietnam and two tours of duty in Thailand. Bill retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 20 year of honorable service and remained in Homestead Florida, which was his last active-duty assignment.
He was a collector of many things to include electronics, sci-fi movies, model trains, and coins. He spent his final days watching golf, and maintaining his collectibles. He passed of natural causes in his sleep.
Bill is survived by his son Raymond Hall (wife Armida; granddaughter Leilani), and a step son Somsak Wansakul, sister Myra Hall of Gloucester and a brother Allen Hall (wife Roswitha Hall) of Danvers, Ma. He was predeceased by his wife Thongsee and his partner of many years Ginnie Kerr.
