William Franquiz's Obituary
William Franquiz passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at his residence in Miami Florida. He was born on February 10, 1939 in Cuba before moving to Boston, Massachusetts in 1968. William worked for the United States Postal Service for 21 years. He was a devout Christian and an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Devoted husband of Mercedes Leyva. Loving father of Ana Homem and husband Carlos, William Franquiz and wife Ada Janci, Robert Franquiz and wife Carey. Cherished grandfather of Craig Homem, Kevin Homem, Cristina Homem, Brandon Franquiz , Monica Franquiz, Christian Franquiz, Mia Franquiz, Xander Franquiz, and Olivia Franquiz. Adored great grandfather of Jayden Homem, Arya Homem, Benjamin Homem, and Elliana Spinelli. Beloved brother of Elsa Franquiz and Roberto Franquiz and the late Conchita Garcia, Amparo Franquiz, Alberto Franquiz, Armando Franquiz, and Adolfo Franquiz. Also survived by nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
