Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Vivian De La Paz, nacida como Vivian Chao el 2 de diciembre de 1951 en La Habana Vieja, Cuba, y quien ipartió el 10 de abril de 2026 en Miami, Florida.
Vivian fue precedida en la muerte por su madre, Milagros Carballosa, su hermano Armando Maella, y su esposo Santos De La Paz.
Le sobreviven sus amados hijos: Milagros Campos, Vivian Hardwick y Armando De La Paz. Fue una abuela orgullosa y dedicada para Luis Garcia, Jessica Rossi, Carolina Giangreco, Richard Andersson, Peyton Paley, Sabrina Campos y Sofia Campos, y una bisabuela muy querida para Hailey Rossi y Lily Viviana Giangreco.
Vivian vivió su vida con alegría, calidez y una energía inconfundible que tocó a todos a su alrededor. Su mayor felicidad la encontraba estando con su familia. Le encantaba bailar, cocinar y viajar, creando recuerdos duraderos llenos de amor y risas. Valiente y sumamente fuerte, enfrentó la vida con coraje y determinación, inspirando a todos los que la rodeaban.
Fue el corazón de su familia, una verdadera matriarca. Fuerte, desinteresada y profundamente amorosa, Vivian era alguien a quien todos acudían naturalmente. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Vivian De La Paz, born as Vivian Chao on December 2, 1951, in Old Havana, Cuba, and who passed away on April 10, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
Vivian was preceded in death by her mother, Milagros Carballosa, her brother, Armando Maella, and her husband, Santos De La Paz.
She is survived by her loving children: Milagros Campos, Vivian Hardwick, and Armando De La Paz. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Luis Garcia, Jessica Rossi, Carolina Giangreco, Richard Andersson, Peyton Paley, Sabrina Campos, and Sofia Campos, and a cherished great-grandmother to Hailey Rossi and Lily Viviana Giangreco.
Vivian lived her life with joy, warmth, and an unmistakable energy that touched everyone around her. She found her greatest happiness in being with her family. She loved to dance, cook, and travel, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Fearless and incredibly strong, she faced life with courage and determination, inspiring everyone around her.
She was the heart of her family, a true matriarch. Strong, selfless, and endlessly loving, Vivian was someone people naturally turned to. She opened her home and her heart to everyone, always making others feel welcome, cared for, and never alone. She was constantly checking in on those she loved, offering guidance, comfort, and unwavering support. Above all, she made sure her family and loved ones always felt safe, supported, and deeply loved. She embodied the very essence of a strong, loving, and resilient woman, and shared that love freely with all who knew her.
Though our hearts are deeply saddened by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her love lives on in each of us. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to guide us always.
Vivian will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
