Victoria Marie Hoppe's Obituary
Victoria Marie Hoppe, beloved daughter and sister, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 4th, 2022 after a courageous 3-year battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. She was born in Miami,FL on September 15th, 1996, She completed her elementary school education at the Assurant Satellite Learning Center in Cutler Ridge, FL, and graduated from Westminster Christian School high school in 2015, where she became one of the school's most decorated distance runners, earning multiple individual district and regional championships in cross country and track & field. Victoria was recruited by the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015 as a track and distance runner at the Division 1 level. the team won the Conference USA Championship in 2018. Victoria graduated from the university in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the school of Business and Economic Development. In 2019, the university also awarded her the Gold Standard Talon Award for athletic excellence. Post-College, while battling cancer, Victoria held various positions in marketing and retail. Passionate about street art and it's culture statements, Victoria also worked as a Media Director for Miami's Best Graffiti Guide, an artist-owned and operated tour company in Miami's nationally renowned Wynwood Art District. Victoria is survived by her loving parents, Sandra Annand Tracy Lewis, her beloved sister Megan Rose, grandmother Johnye Hoppe, and many extended family members and friends. She will be forever loved.
Memorial donations in Victoria's name may be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Cycle for Survival for Rare Cancer research
