For many decades, I spent most Saturdays at Ugo di Roma - first at the Brickell Bay Club, then the Omni, and in later years, at the Coconut Grove salon. Ugo’s elegance and wisdom enriched my life and provided a much-needed sense of constancy in a fast-changing world. I send my deepest sympathy and kindest thoughts to Nelly, Serge, and his beloved grandchildren. I cannot imagine their sense of loss. Catherine Whitfield
Nellie, Serge and Family,
I was saddened to hear of Ugo's passing. He was my hairdresser and friend for many years. I will miss him and all of the wonderful conversations we had over the years. We talked by phone after his retirement. COVID prevents me from attending the wake, but I send my deep condolences.
