Tracy Andrea Renn's Obituary
In love and honor of the luminous Tracy Andrea Renn,
The world shifted on December 13th, 1968 when Tracy was born in the Bahamas on Andros Island. As a young adult, she traveled in a group to Haiti where she worked on constructing a school for children. Later on, she worked her way up into numerous leadership roles; she began in sales and marketing within the beauty industry and later migrated into healthcare. However; her most prized profession to which she effortlessly excelled at, was being a mother to her daughter, Alexandra.
Tracy was loved deeply, and deeply loved. The moment she would enter a room, you could instantaneously feel the shift of energy at the warmth of her grace. She was not only magnificent, but she was absolutely magnetic.
Tracy was the type of person whose simple presence was a treat. She had a flare for life. She was amusing, witty, thoughtful, and beautiful. She loved to tell jokes and was the first one to welcome a hoax; therefore, people loved her, she never took life to seriously, it was admirable.
Tracy was a go-getter, she always seemed to make it happen for herself. The impossible would always become possible at one point or another. She would say “don’t come to me with a problem; come to me with a problem and a solution.” She lived life by a three-step process: what’s the issue, how do we conquer it, and now let’s celebrate the triumph of the conquest.
Tracy was the type of woman that would speak with purpose. When you spoke to her, she did not look through you, but she looked within you; almost as if she was conversing with your heart and soul.
One of my most vivid memories of Tracy, was when we were walking down a hallway within the hospital that she worked at, and a man stopped abruptly in our path. The man addressed Tracy by her full name, began to breakdown crying, and then thanked her profusely for all the help that she provided him and his family during a tumultuous time. After a few moments of speaking and listening to the man, we continued on our way, and she acted as if nothing happened. I looked at her in disbelief, and I asked her who was that man? She gave me a simple reply, she stated “I have no idea.”
At that moment, I realized how important Tracy was to this world. Tracy was able to connect with someone without even remembering. She was able to affect someone’s life so drastically, that her presence alone was able to initiate a sincere and tender reaction. It was simply heartening at how selfless she was. She was consistently touching others, without even realizing the extraordinary imprint that she was leaving on the hearts of her audience. What seemed effortless and minuscule to her, was timeless and monumental to someone else. That moment represented Tracy as a human being of this world; she was the type of woman that lived to help other’s without seeking a reward. Little did she know that the true reward lays within us; to be able to say that we had the privilege to meet her, know her, be with her, and love her.
May Tracy be remembered as the strong, vivacious, and gorgeous woman that did her best to triumph this beautiful thing we call life. With that said, Tracy has one wish. That wish is that you do not feel sorrow towards her transition from a walking angel of this earth, to a souring angel of the heavens; but to feel joy, and to celebrate her life spent with us.
May the luminous Tracy Andrea Renn live on all around us. May she be in the sound of the waves crashing onto the shoreline, may she be in the gleaming light of a shooting star, and may she be in the warmth of the sun kissing your face on a Sunday morning.
What comfort it brings me to know, that half of my heart is made up of you. To my beautiful mom, I love you!
Love,
Alexandra
