Sue B Drake's Obituary
Sue Drake was born in Montgomery, Alabama on August 5, 1921, the eldest of seven
children. There, she grew up on a farm through the Great Depression, worked as a
secretary through World War II, and then moved to Miami Beach in 1949 where she lived
with one of her sisters.
She never left Miami. She married Robert Drake in the early 1950’s, and they had two
sons, Ros and Ken. She moved to Miami Lakes with her family in 1966, where she
continued to live until the day she died, October 12, 2023, at the age of 102.
Her husband, Robert, died in 1997. She is survived by Ros, Ken and his wife, Robbie,
their children, Robert, Russell, Candice and her husband, Parker, and their daughter, her
great granddaughter, Alexis.
She is greatly loved and she will be greatly missed
