Steven James Davis' Obituary
Steven James Davis, 72, of Key Largo, Florida, passed away on October 6, 2023. Born on March 23, 1951, in Binghamton, NY, Steve was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Steve and Kathy retired in The Florida Keys. His whole world revolved around his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Steve's wife Kathleen Davis and their two children, Katie Brennan and James Davis (Erin Davis), meant the world to him. He was also a proud grandfather to his granddaughter Delaney Brennan. Steve is survived by his sister Beth Cichostepski (Fran Cichostepski), as well as his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Davis of Skaneateles, NY.
Steve attended Colonie High School in Albany, NY, and later pursued higher education at Hudson Valley Community College. He embarked on a successful career as a salesman, working in the insurance business and later transitioning to car sales.
Outside of work, Steve had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He loved golfing, reading, boating, and spending time on the water. But above all, his greatest passion was his family.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held in the near future to honor and remember the wonderful memories he created with his loved ones.
