Shamar came into my life at a time when I was a confused and naive 18-year-old, and he became someone who helped guide and support me in ways I’ll always be grateful for. Over time, he remained a steady presence—someone who showed up, taught me, and left a lasting impact on who I am today.
He was one of the most important lessons and relationships in my life, shaping me in ways I carry with me every day. Beyond everything else, he was someone I could learn from, grow with, and rely on.
I will deeply miss him—not only as a former partner, but as a friend and a fellow soldier.
His memory will always stay with me.
