Santia Lugo Guzman's Obituary
Santia was born on January 29, 1934, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to Amadeo Lugo and Tomasa Guzman. She grew up in Yauco with her nine siblings: Sara, Margarita, Ramonita, Auria, Julio Cesar, Albina, Aida, Miriam, and Ramonita.
She was a deeply nurturing and devoted mother to her nine children, who will cherish her memory forever: Luis, Jose, Angel, Armando, Rebecca, Primitivo (Jr), Maria Veronica, Jesus, and Noel. Her love for her children and grandchildren was the cornerstone of her life, always providing them with warmth and care.
In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren, who, with love and affection, called her ABUELA Luis, Rene, Melissa, Elijah, Kimberley, Lavina, Rebecca, Jimmy, Armando, Santia, Raul, Jose, Antonio, Esteban, Veronica, Gabriel, Ricardo, Amanda, Saul, Krystal, Gabriel, Joel, Noel, and Irene. In addition, her 26 great-grandchildren brought her immense joy and pride. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to thrive in all those whose lives she touched.
Santia will always be remembered for her gentle nature, her love for her family, her unwavering strength that inspired us all, and her can-do attitude. She had a remarkable ability to bring warmth and kindness to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Julio Cesar and Albina; her loving spouses, Gervacio and Primitivo; her children Maria Veronica and Jose; her grandchildren, Luis (sito) and Joel; and her great-grandchild Nickolette.
She radiated love and warmth to everyone around her, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to experience her kindness. Cherished by all, her absence will be deeply felt by everyone whose life she touched and whose heart she graced with her love.
