Dr. Sanford Garson Kimball's Obituary
Dr. Sanford (Sandy) G. Kimball (also known as, “Doc K”), born in Pittsburgh, PA but raised in Miami Beach, FL passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2021 in Aventura, FL, three years to the day as his beloved wife, Marlene.
He was the son of Jerome and Rose Kimball (Garson). He is survived by his sons Jerome, Scott, and Roger Kimball; daughter, Julie Young; Daughter-in-law, Jennifer; Grandchildren Ethan, Owen, and Kira Young, Lexi Kimball, and Alexander Kimball; and brother and sister-in-law Stanley and Sharon Barnett; and nephews Michael and Mark Barnett.
An avid athlete and graduate of Emory University and the University of Miami School of Medicine, above all, “Doc K” loved being a Doctor, and practiced for nearly 50 years at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, FL. Sandy served proudly as physician in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Captain.
Sandy loved the outdoors, playing golf, fishing, and attending sporting events. He lived the majority of his life on Miami Beach, FL where he worked as a Doctor.
