Ruggero Augusto Rizzetto's Obituary
Ruggero Augusto Rizzetto was called home to his Heavenly Father on August 22, 2023. Surrounded by the love of his adoring family, he departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will forever be cherished.
Born in Cali, Colombia, on October 27, 1937, he was the first son of 8 children to his parents, Ruggero Rizzetto and Carola Ramirez, who grew into an extraordinary individual.
In 1974, he moved to Miami, Florida, to build a new life for himself and his family. Honing his natural artistic gift and passion for car restoration and painting, he successfully owned and operated Rizzetto’s Paint & Bodyshop.
As a devoted husband, Augusto shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved wife, Nuria, for 66 years. They were each other’s rock and a constant source of support, weathering life’s ups and downs together. His love for her was a testament to the strength of true partnership.
The family was the foundation of Augusto’s life. He delighted in every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His home resonated with laughter and joy as the countless family gatherings were filled with stories, laughter, and love. Augusto had an incomparable ability to bring people together and create an atmosphere of warmth and happiness through his music, stories, and jokes.
Augusto is survived by his wife, five devoted children, his predeceased son (Gildo), thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three siblings whom he adored.
He will be forever remembered for his dedication and devotion to his wife, family, and friends. His generous spirit and love for the family will forever be a part of our cherished memories. As the family patriarch, his love knew no bounds. May his spirit forever inspire us to find joy in the simplest moments and life’s most extraordinary adventures.
To commemorate his legacy and passing, a private memorial service will be held by friends and family
