Sergio
I knew Fella since she was a little girl and the first thing that was always outstanding in her was her upbeat personality throughout the entire length of her life: It was the one thing which always made it such a joy to be in the same room with her. There was never any doubt that graciousness and kindness would be her response to everyone around her regardless of whom it might be, or where & what the occasion.
I was therefore ever most grateful for whatever few precious moments I was able to spent with her, growing up. She gave of her time to a little boy who was five years her junior with sweetness, patience, and a marvelously kind intelligence & understanding--a little boy who anybody else might have too easily put aside. But she always made me feel important by the attention paid to me by someone my senior; and that was a precious gift from Fella which I have cherished always, and will forever cherish, one for which I could never repay her.
There are in this life plants which blossom or stand dry according to the seasons, but Fella was a precious flower which as if by some miracle bloomed forever without having to renew according to the whatever whims of this world, sometimes warm or cold sometimes: She stood an undimmed value in nature all her own regardless of whatever winds blew about her.
I cannot remember a time when I ever saw Fella without a warm winning smile for anyone she came across. It is a rare thing in a human being; and when one finds a person like that one longs to be in her presence as much as one possibly can. Thereby my one great regret with regards to Fella always was & is that I could not be in her presence always. God bless you dear sister.
Your brother Sergio.
