Ruben was my fellow colleague and friend. I always enjoyed our conversation talking about all kinds of sports even when we didn’t share the same allegiance in the teams we followed. He was a great person who always showed kindness and shared happiness where ever he went. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My friend since 2006. You have always been a source of hours of laughs and fun . Your stories, jokes and exploits are still talked about to this day by anyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing you.
You were a real person who always stood by his word and cared about all your friends. I will never forget the Knight Rider car you bought me when I got my trans am. And I can still hear your voice calling someone “playah’ “ you my friend are and will always be a legend in my circle as well as so many others. Your Mother, Father and siblings are in my prayers.

We must not forget that Rubén's mother Patricia Pineda, also feels the death of her son and not only his siblings and wife.
