CARDONA, ROXANA, 41, born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, passed away on July 6, 2019. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm at Ferdinand Funeral Home. Private Cremation Services.
Anyone that got to know Roxana as an acquaintance or personally can instantly feel her contagious witty humor and kind heartedness. Roxy was no ordinary woman,
her resilience and strenght made her unparalleled from the moment she was born until her last breath. She could make you laugh till you were on the floor with happy
tears pouring out of your eyes, she was captivating in that way.
Roxy would walk into a room and everyone would instantly gravitate toward her light, there are no exact words to define her powerful energy, you can solely feel it. Her
vibrant spirit will continue to live through each and every person that she held dear to her heart, it is quite difficult to not have a piece of her latched on to you. The amount of
love she poured out to every person she came across, in her own unique way, was unconditional and unforgettable.
Although she was stubborn, she was impactful and she did everything with a heart full of love, joy and meaning. Although she is not physically here with us any longer, she is
around us, within us, the butterfly that lands on you, the warm sun that shines on your skin, the glistening ocean, the flower growing thru the cracks, she is everything.
Never thought we’d lose you. You kept on strong! You showed us all what it is to be a fighter. You did it your way! You did not allow this weak heart to define you.
Instead, you gave us all such courage and hope, reminding us of the preciousness of life.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
If my parting left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
ah, yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief,
lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, he set me free.
Roxy you are loved, will be missed, and will always be cherished.
