Ronnie Roy Critzer's Obituary
Ronnie Roy Critzer, age 75, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, at his home in Miami, Florida. Born on October 4, 1948, in Waynesboro, Virgina, Ronnie was the son of Thomas Wilson Critzer and Laura Frances Drumheller (both deceased).
Ronnie was the youngest of eight children. He was a twin brother to Donnie Critzer, who unfortunately passed away a little over a year after birth. He had four older brothers: Junior, Hunter, Benny, and Roger who are also deceased. He is survived by his three older sisters: Lois, Merrel, and Betty. As a brother, he was a steadfast companion, offering support and camaraderie through life's trials and triumphs. And as a friend, he was a beacon of kindness and compassion, always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand.
Ronnie's life was marked by service and dedication. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, embodying honor and courage throughout his military career. His commitment to duty left an indelible mark on all who knew him. During his service in the United States Army, he met his wife and lifelong partner Cindy Hwan Critzer in Korea. They were married for over 50 years.
Beyond his military service, Ronnie was cherished for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty. He supported his son, Ronnie Critzer II, at every turn and with Cindy’s help, helped Ronnie II establish Paint N Motion, Inc. in 1992. You could always find Ronnie at the shop from sunup to sundown with very few breaks. Paint N Motion, Inc. was his son’s dream and he helped to make the business thrive. The community knew of the pride that Ronnie and the Critzer family put into Paint N Motion, Inc. The business venture lasted 30 plus years and as a father and friend, Ronnie was a source of guidance and inspiration, demonstrating the values of integrity and resilience.
Ronnie is also survived by his only child Ronnie Roy Critzer II and his four grandchildren: Sebastian Ronnie Critzer, Victoria Alexis Critzer, Ronnie Nicholas Critzer and Sophia Isabella Critzer.
Ronnie's love knew no bounds, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who have the blessing of knowing him. His ashes will be spread in Tye River, Virgina over the graves of his mother and brother Donnie. And although he may no longer walk among us, his memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved him.
