Rodolfo B. "Rudy" Gonzalez's Obituary
Rodolfo B. "Rudy" Gonzalez, 57, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in his home in Miami Lakes. Rudy was born in Cuba on September 25, 1962 and at the age of 6 he came to the United States with his parents and siblings. His early childhood years were spent attending Corpus Christi School and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School. His high school years were spent at Immaculata-La Salle High School, and later he attended St. Thomas University where he obtained his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Accounting. He worked as an accountant for over 30 years and was also a real estate and mortgage broker. Rudy is survived by his wife, Lourdes and son, Rudy, Jr.; his parents Benedicto and Maria de Los Angeles Gonzalez; his siblings, Mary (Julio) Garrido, Benny (Martha) Gonzalez, Mariloly (Ramiro) Ulloa and Jesus (Diana) Gonzalez; his many nieces and nephews Frankie, Mari, and Mia Garrido, Gaby and Briana Gonzalez, Christina, Anthony, Michael, and Nicholas Ulloa, Megan and Sammy Gonzalez, and Natalie and Caroline De La Nuez. Rudy was fun-loving and very charismatic. He was a friend to all and above everything, loved his family more than anything. Family gatherings will never be the same without him. He will be deeply missed.
