He was predeceased by his father Emmanuel in 1997 and his girlfriend Beth in 2019. He is survived by his mother Luz, brothers Miguel and Emmanuel; sons Ricardo Jr. and Noah; daughters Richelle and Gracie; and grandson Yohan.
