Raul Javier Martinez's Obituary
Raul Javier Martinez was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at home on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at age 91 in Miami, Florida.
He was born to Enrique Martinez Sariol and Maria Teresa Rodriguez in Camaguey, Cuba on September 30th, 1931. He married Elena Riveron on September 30, 1961. Together, they had 2 children: Raul “Raulito” and Elena “Elenita”.
Despite his medical problems in the recent year, Raul showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile and a positive attitude. Even with the pain and frustrations he encountered, Raul came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Raul loved spending time in his backyard, finding something to fix, listening to music, watching sports, or simply being home with family. He lived a long and full life and will be missed by many.
