Ramon Swaby's Obituary
Ramon Wallace Swaby, 79, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 3, 2024, in Hialeah, Florida. Ramon was born on November 24, 1944, in Isle of pines, Cuba to Guillermo Timoteo Swaby and Susana Elizabeth Ebanks. Ramon worked as a seaman most of his life and through his work got to see the world. He was a global person who loved nature, history, and his family. Although he never married and had children of his own his life was very full of love. He was proud of his nieces and nephews and grateful to his siblings for gifting him the opportunity to become an uncle. Ramon was always there to share wisdom or a listening ear, he will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush.
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
