Pedro Batista, 85, passed away on August 27, 2019 in North Miami Beach, Florida. Pedro was born on December 12, 1933 in Santa Clara, Camaguey, Cuba. Pedro was a hard worker. Pedro will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Pedro is survived by his loving son: Jose Yoan Batista and other loving family members and friends. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Funeraria Memorial Plan San Jose Palm Avenue, 4850 Palm Avenue, Hialeah, Florida 33012. A poem that reflects his life is: “Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night. Grieve if you will, But not for long. Upon my soul’s sweet Flight I am at peace, my soul is at rest. There is no need for tears for with your love I was so blessed. For all those many years There is no pain, I suffer not, The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of yours thoughts, In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath. Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life.”
