His first visit upon immigrating to the USA was the Yankee stadium in the Bronx, only to discover it was under renovation. He held Marlins’ season tickets from the inaugural season in 1993, held legendary tailgate parties before the games, and watched his beloved Marlins win 2 World Series. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gladys Vidan, his daughters Marcia Vidan (Jorge Perez), Vilma Croft (Mark), Susana Vidan (Luigi Scotto), grandchildren Adrian (Victoria Jaca), Claudia and Karina Perez, Allison (Matt Vorcheimer), Andy and Kristen Croft, Francesca and Luca Scotto, great-grandchildren Liam and Linc Vorcheimer, as well as his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Luisa and Ignacio de la Campa, their daughter Rusalka (Sam Patmore), and grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends.
