For 39 years I got to call you my mother in law. We have shared many happy memories and moments such as when you drove me to my pre-marriage counseling classe in Ponce. When you made the flowers for my wedding cake. They were so beautiful. When you shared your favorite recipes for natilla, arroz con leche and merengue. You even showed me the techniques for making them. I didn't excel in making them all but I will will always treasure that memory. Oh and the solicited and unsolicited advice got to accept those to. The family vacations and gatherings is something I will always treasury especially your 80th birthday celebration. Celebrating you and a life will lived.
Rest in peace until we meet again.

I have known Midga for at least 35 years. I have know her to be a hard worker, straight forward and determined person. She worked hard to live a good life and to take care of her family. Life at times has had ways of showing us a different side but at the end of the day we are all one big family. You will be missed. Enjoy your journey , we will meet again. Love Nelly and Ron.

I have known Midga for over 35 years. I have always known her to be a hard worker, straight forward, set in her ways but always lived an honest life. Midga was determined to make a good life for herself and family. She loved to travel and did a lot of it. Life has ways of showing off when you least expect it , and hers did show off towards the end.
Wishing you a peaceful and wonderful journey in crossing over. You will be missed. Love ,farewell, and see you later. Love Nelly and Ron

I say it better in English, my apologies to mi gente.

My entire almost 49 years of life has had Abuela Migda as an integral part of it. Even when Oceans were between us, she kept in touch. From my eyes, Abuela was always there. She had her ways as we all do. Some of her ways were tough and sometimes misunderstood. I remember that when times got a bit rough for us, she would get a call from Mom. She came through, with her conditions and rules but she was there. In her Old age, she and I became closer. We spoke more and I got to hear her story more. She was a fighter, she had dreams and she had ambitions. She fought and worked and had a great life. She made a family with kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. I am so glad my kids got to meet and experience her. To Jesus, I thank him for being her companion until the end. Abuela, que descanse. Busca a Mami en el Cielo, hagance las pases y tengan una eternidad llena de alegria. No jodas a Papi, el te quiere. Te quiero mucho mi Abuela.
