Meiko Kubota's Obituary
Mieko Kubota, an accomplished artist and cultural ambassador, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Miami, Florida. Born on February 28, 1937, in Japan, she dedicated over three decades to spreading Japanese culture in South Florida.
Kubota was renowned for her creativity in ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging. She taught and demonstrated ikebana throughout the region, leaving a lasting impact on the arts and public education.
