She met and married Merrick Wade Lawrence Sr. In 1989. Before her married years, she went to school for nursing assistance and worked in the field for years. Net Ball. Maxine was known to be fast as lightning especially when she competed in her school and parish league, where she was known as the champion runner...
After her union with Merrick Sr, they produced 8 beautiful and talented children, 2 girls and 6 boys. Maxine contributed a lot to the workforce where she is loved and respected by her co-workers and is known to be an industrious and a no nonsense person. She was a spiritual and strong Christian woman who lived a life of humility and faith. She was loved , honored and respected by her family and her peers. With her all things are possible and she never saw a task impossible. As reflected by her children there were days that they remember her as best friend, accountant, doctor, advisor, playmate, prayer warrior, encourager but most of all nurturer. Today we celebrate her for who she is a virtuous and compassionate daughter, friend, sister, mother and wife.
We are grateful that God gave her to us and we will continue to finish from where she started. From her husband, children, mother, sisters, brother, in-laws, nephews and nieces
