Mary Lou Kerr's Obituary
Mary Lou Kerr of Pembroke Pines, formerly of Hialeah, was born on May 2nd, 1936, and passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2024, after battling years of dementia. Mary Lou was 88 years old and deeply loved by her family, church congregation, and friends.
She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Kerr, Jr. known as Eddie; He preceded her in death in 2005. Mary Lou was the loving mother of Deborah Kerr, Edward A. Kerr III, married to Maria Grullon-Kerr, and Geoffroy L. Kerr, married to Nery L. Kerr. Her Grandchildren are Kaitlyn Taylor Barnes, Edward A. Kerr IV, Elizabeth Kerr, Annerys Abreu, Geoffroy L. Kerr, Jr., Lydia Kerr Jackson, and Jeremy E. Kerr. The Great Grandchildren are Grace Kerr, Twins Joy & Hope Kerr, and Mia & Syrenna Abreu.
Mary Lou served as church secretary for St. Luke's Lutheran of Hialeah as well as Grace Lutheran of Miami Springs. She loved her family, enjoyed traveling, helping others, and collecting lighthouse reproductions.
Viewing & Memorial Services are Tuesday, May 28th from 5pm to 10pm, at San Jose Palm Funeral Home located at 4850 Palm Ave, Hialeah.
