Martha was my godmother, in all my childhood memories I remember she was always at our house enjoying wonderful times with my parents, mutual friends and Octavio my godfather which was her cousin on her mother's side and Octavio was cousins with my father on their fathers side. Martha was always full of joy and was a good friend to my parents. I have fond and loving memories of her always being attentive and kind. We reconnected a few years back and I invited her along with my Mother, and my mother in law for a wonder night at a musical concert reminiscing on many famous Cuban artist from their era they so loved and enjoyed. I am grateful I was able to spend this time seeing them together like the old days. I will miss her. May she be resting in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and rejoicing in heaven.
