Blandon, Martha's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Martha Maria Blandon
April 12, 1943– May 29, 2025
With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Martha Maria Blandon, who left us peacefully on May 29, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Born on April 12th, 1943, in Managua, Nicaragua, Martha brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning. The daughter of Martha Maria Escobar and Emiliano Murillo, she grew up with a heart full of love, a spirit of joy, and a laugh that was unmistakable—warm, genuine, and completely contagious. She married the love of her life, Julio Blandon, and together they built a life rooted in loyalty, laughter, and unwavering love. Their bond was a true partnership—marked by respect, support, and a shared joy for life’s simple, beautiful moments.
Martha was the heart of her family, and her love knew no limits. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply valued. Whether through a gentle word, a heartfelt hug, or her ever-present smile, she gave selflessly and completely.
She is survived by her children, Geraldine Rivas, Gardner Blandon, and Lesly Lasa-Blandon; her grandchildren, Bianca Blandon, Isabella Blandon, Julio Blandon, Octavio Blandon, and Valentina Blandon; and her siblings, Lizzie Rocha, Rolando Murillo, and Evelyn Arguello. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing her.
Her joy for life, her infectious laughter, and her steadfast loyalty will never be forgotten. Though we grieve her loss, we are endlessly grateful for the time we had, and we will carry her love with us—always
