Marie Marlene Valcourt Pierre's Obituary
Marie-Marlene Valcourt Pierre, age 84, wife of late Claude Alfred Pierre, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Miami, Florida. Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on January 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Lefort Acacia Valcourt and Cecile Charles.
Marie-Marlene was a loving and caring spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was always ready to help anyone in need, and her kindness, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of many. During her time on Earth, she was a self-employed woman who enjoyed traveling for business and leisure. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed attending mass and prayer services. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by her son, Claude Lefort Pierre, her daughter, Carlah Maignan, wife of Claude Michel Maignan, and her grandchildren, Claudy-Marie, Corinne Michelle, Christian Alfred, and Carly Celeste.
She will be missed by her brothers and sisters Marie Therese Valcourt, Marie Rosemonde Philomise Valcourt, Johnny Valcourt, Harold Rommel Valcourt, Marie Noel Valcourt, Marie Ange Valcourt, Claudette Valcourt, Marie Francoise V. Souffrant, Mariquita Valcourt Toussaint, Emmanuella V. Laguerre, Jacques V. Laguerre, Julianie Valcourt just to name a few, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Angelo and Monfort Valcourt.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mariquita V. Toussaint and Evelyn Nemours for being by her side until the last day of her passing.
Friends are invited for visitation and prayer service on February 26th at Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home at 9800 SW 24th ST, Miami, FL from 11am to 1pm, followed by burial at 1:30 at Miami Memorial Park 6200 SW 77 Ave. Miami, FL. Repast will be after the burial at Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home.
