Maria Alvarez Raynal Trelles, 90. Was born on August 1, 1932 in Havana, Cuba and passed away on June 8, 2023 in Miami, Florida. Maria was the daughter of Aimé and Juana Alvarez. A dear sister to Amado Jose, Julio, and Enrique Alvarez. The beloved wife of Luis Enrique Trelles. A loving mother to Luis Enrique ll, Jorge Luis, and Ana Maria, and their spouses Tina Falla, Mari Tere Cabarrocas, and Rafael Portuondo. She was the proud godmother of Ann Alvarez-Scally. A cherished Grandmother of Mari Teri, Aliette, Jorge Gabriel, Anamari, Ralfi, Olivia, Margot, Luis Miguel and Isabella. A blessed Great-Grandmother of Beau Grey, Rumi Rose, Mateo, Andres, Felipe, Marco, Luca, and Pia. And a life long friend to many. She was deeply loved, and will be truly missed. A mass will be held on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, followed by Interment at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. May she rest in Peace and Paradise. Reunited with her husband and past loved ones.
