Maria Rosa Leiro's Obituary
Maria Leiro was born on May 11, 1957, in Pinar del Río, Cuba. She spent most of her life in Miami, Florida, where she created a lifetime of cherished memories with her parents, Jorge and Matilde Leiro, her beloved daughters, Natalie Garrido and Nicole Echavarria, and her dear brother, Ángel Morejón, and sister-in-law, Haydee Morejón. Maria had a deep love for traveling, trying new foods, and making unforgettable memories on vacations with her daughters. She also found great joy in spending time with her best friends, who became like family to her. A dedicated professional, Maria worked for AAA for many years, where she built lasting friendships and took pride in her work. A graduate of South Miami Senior High School in 1975, she later earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations. However, her greatest accomplishment and source of happiness was being a mother. She adored her daughters and devoted her life to raising them with love and strength. Maria’s faith was an essential part of her life, and she carried a deep love for God that guided her through all of life’s moments. She is survived by her daughters, Natalie Garrido and Nicole Echavarria, as well as her brother, Ángel Morejón. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
