Maria Concepcion Fandino was born in Honduras on October 12, 1940 and passed away in Miami, Florida on July 21, 2023 at the age of 82. Maria also known as Conchita is survived by her 7 children Ilda, Alina, Juan Carlos, Wilson, Aristides, Carmen and Angelica, her 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. After arriving in Miami in 1982, Maria decided this is where she would continue her journey. Her goal was to bring her children to the United States in order to help them be successful in this country. She made Miami her home. Maria loved having reunions with her family, dancing and singing to the music of Vicente Fernandez.
She will be remembered as a beautiful, strong woman and an amazing mother who sacrificed so much for her children as she dedicated her life to helping all of them as well as others in need. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
