Manuel “Manny” Marquez, Jr., 68, of Santiago de Cuba, passed away on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 in Miami, FL.
Manny was born on November 1st, 1950. He is a graduate of Miami Senior High School, class of 1968, and Florida International University. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. Manny is survived by his wife, Gloria, of 20 years; son, Michael (Vanessa) Marquez, daughters, Michelle (Robert) Gomez and Melissa (T.J.) Comunale; grandchildren, Isabella, Adrian, Natalia, Alexander, Christian, and Juliette; cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Manny was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4th, from 6-10 pm at Ferdinand Funeral Home, 2546 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
A celebration of life mass will be held on Friday, April 5th, at 10am at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 1400 Miller Road, Coral Gables, FL. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Avenue, Miami, FL.
