Dr. Manuel Fernandez Gonzalez was a caring, knowledgeable, kind human being! He was a wonderful person and a great doctor. His faithful was deep rooted and I know he is looking down on us and helping his loving family cope with his passing. He will be very much missed by all. RIP
Mi doctor, mi ángel, fue y será muy especial para nuestra oficina Vida y para mi especialmente como un padre, te quiero mucho y te llevaré por siempre en mi corazón 🙏🙏🙏
Dr. Manny was such a beautiful soul in so many ways. His faith and devotion, kindness and generosity--in a word, his witness--to the powerful apparitions of Our Lady of the Roses in Bayside, N.Y., was inspiring. Truly Our Lady will remember in kind his bold deeds.
He amassed and profited from so many graces through the years, actually decades, in his active role in this noble Mission, and presence on the holy grounds.
His Roman Catholic faith that he cherished and fiercely defended became more enlivened and deeper. His love of neighbor, or in his case, patients, was always genuine and compassionate. And his nearly 40-year marriage to his beloved wife, Grace, was always a beautiful testimony to that matrimonial bond sealed in the sacrament.
If only we had more Dr. Mannys' in the medical field today, the hospitals and world would all be in a better place.
Our heartfelt condolences to Grace, her 105 year-old mother, Graziella, Manny Jr., Tony, Barbara and all loved ones and friends in this time of sorrow. Dr. Manny will be publicly remembered at Our Lady of the Roses Shrine and in our community Rosaries and prayers.
Michael, James, John, Darryl / Lay Order of St. Michael
