Manuel A. Blanco's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the Blanco family announces the death of Manuel A. Blanco. A man of humble beginnings, he was born in Galicia and eventually immigrated to the United States. He worked at Casa Juancho Restaurant for over 30 years. He took special pride in what he did and he had an amazing work ethic. The restaurant was his second home and there he shared many special moments with his friends from Spain. He had a lifelong love for soccer and watched or listened on the radio to every Real Madrid and Celta de Vigo game that he could. He even went to see Real Madrid when they came to Miami a few years ago. Manolo traveled to many countries, enjoyed good food, and great wine. He loved his daughter, Melissa, very deeply and his grandkids, Rocco and Luca, were the culmination of a life totally dedicated to family. He was a quiet man…a kind and gentle man with lots of heart. He is survived by Rosa Maria, his wife of 41 years, his daughter Melissa, his son-in-law Andrew Silva and his two grandchildren Rocco and Luca.
