Lisa Lee Lorusso Whelan's Obituary
Minister Lisa Lee Lorusso Whelan, 50, of Homestead, Florida passed away at her home on October 6, 2020. Lisa was born on February 18, 1970 in Miami, Florida to Patrick Whelan and Donna Lorusso.
Lisa graduated from South Dade High School and went on to attend Miami-Dade College where she studied accounting. She was a driven, adventurous, and independent woman, who was full of life and always saw the best in people. Lisa always looked at the brighter things in life and wore her heart on her sleeve. She created the FLB Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that is worldwide. Her kind heart and hard work-ethic was able to help many people.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Thompson, her parents, Patrick Whelan and Donna Lorusso and her dear brother Patrick. She also leaves behind many other family members and dear friends.
