Lilia Rodriguez's Obituary
Lilia Rodriguez passed away peacefully on October 26, 2020. She was born on November 25, 1935 in Cuba. She immigrated to the United States from Cuba with her husband Florentino Rodriguez and first lived in Port Chester, NY and later Miami, FL. The highlight of her career was serving as the admissions coordinator at St.Anne, a Catholic nursing center for the elderly, in Miami. She was married to Florentino for 58 years. She was a devoted mother to her only daughter, Elizabeth and her son-in-law Miguel, a wonderful grandmother to her only granddaughter, Melissa and her husband, Chris and most recently a great grandmother to Samantha and Madeleine. Lilia was a devout Catholic and a very generous and thoughtful person. In her final years she loved chatting on the phone with friends and spending time with her family along with her amazing caregiver, Milagros, and her pet cats, Asereje and Rubio, and dog, Hercules. She is now reunited with Florentino in heaven and will be missed dearly.
