Julia Ann Hall's Obituary
Judy Hall passed away peacefully with a smile on her face on Friday the 12th of August. A life-long resident of Miami and only daughter to Julian and Ethel Carr. She was a long-time employee of the Dade County Water and Sewer Authority (WASA) and was immensely proud of the role she played at ensuring “the clean and clear water produced for my beloved Miami”. She was married to three US Navy men and mother to three US Navy sons and always considered herself a Navy Mom ensuring a Sailor home on leave with her boys never left the house hungry. She was drawn to the dramatic arts early in her life and routinely sought and was selected for roles in local playhouses and even performed for Naval Forces while she was living overseas in Spain.
She was known to have a mischievous side and would never shy away from a practical joke, sometimes unknowingly participating in those upon herself, but always finding the humor and joy at having a good laugh even at her own expense.
She had an insatiable love of reading crime and fiction and an endless desire to know of all things Egyptian. She became an authority on Nefertiti and Cleopatra and could interpret hieroglyphic symbols associated with many of the better-known dynastic Egyptian Gods. She’d love to be chatting with Cleopatra, now
Judy now joins her three husbands, Will, Don and John and her loveable youngest son “Cublett” Christopher and is survived by her daughter Desiree and sons Michael and Punky. Her Grand-children Michael Jr., Laura, Jennifer, Alexander and Rio. And her Great-grand-children, Daniel, Kemper, Chella and Malakai who all exhibit traits of Judy already.
