Juan A Fernandez's Obituary
Juan A. Fernández, of Miami, Florida was called home by the Lord in a peaceful manner on Wednesday, April 07, 2021, after reaching the age of 88 years old. He died peacefully within his home in Miami Florida with his family by his side.
Juan was born on August 08, 1932, in Havana, Cuba, to Raiumunda Quesada and Benito Fernández. He immigrated to the United States in 1969, and spent his life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful, and loving man.
In 1952, he married the love of his life, Amparo Varela. They lived together, almost inseparable, for 69 years. He was a strong patriarch of his family and a good friend to all.
He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, a loving grandfather and “great-grand” father to many. Juan was a strong, proud and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many!
Mr. Fernández is survived by his loving wife, Amparo Fernández, children, Mara Herrera, Adys Grace Fernández , and Juan A. Fernández; grandchildren, Mark Herrera, Melissa Herrera, Jonathan Fernández, Jason Fernández, and Andrew Fonseca; great grandchildren, Victoria DiPasquale, Matthew Herrera, Lixandra Fonseca, and Camila Fonseca.
Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us
The burial will be on Thursday April 15th, 2021 burial at Vista Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am.
