Josefina attended Colegio Sepulveda in Cuba and spent one year at Mount Saint Mary in Newburg, NY. In 1960 she and Pablo fled the communist regime in Cuba settling with their family first in Miami, then living in both Belle Glade and Vero Beach, Florida before returning to Miami in 1979. She loved entertaining in her home with her vast network of family and life-long friends. In her most recent years, however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family is grateful to her caregivers and doctors who lovingly took care of her.
