Jose Manuel De Los Santos' Obituary
Jose Manuel De Los Santos, 73, of Homestead, Florida, succumbed to cancer in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on February 28, 2022.
Jose was born in Santo Domingo and moved to Puerto Rico where he met, Nancy, the love of his life. They were married for 50 years. During their time together they had two daughters, Natalie and Barbara. He was a wonderful father to his girls. Together they lived in New York, then Colorado before eventually settling in South Florida.
In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, visiting the beach, and working on antique cars. From his passion of planes, for a brief time, he attended flight school. He enjoyed working with his hands and was able to fix just about anything. Jose was a self-made man who worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
A special thank you to the nurses from Catholic Hospice in Miami for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Branam Funeral Home for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
