Jorge Seoane's Obituary
On Monday, August 10, 2020, Jorge Seoane, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at age 93.
Jorge was born on December 26, 1926 in Havana, Cuba to Francisco Seoane and Maria Val Leiva. Jorge owned Autopart businesses in Havana and carried that legacy when he came to America in 1960. He married Caridad Otero in Havana and they raised 2 daughters, Ana and Barbara, and three sons, Jorge Jr., Alberto, and Roberto.
Jorge was a hard worker and had a passion for his business. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and five children. His love for his work was so great that he worked at his business until the age of 90. He was a gentle and wise man who sacrificed for his family and taught us what hard work truly was.
Jorge was preceded in death by his brother, Emilio, his wife, Caridad, and his daughter, Barbara. He is survived by his youngest sister Concepcion, his eldest daughter Ana, his three sons, Jorge Jr., Alberto, and Roberto, many grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14th, 2020 at San Jose Funeral Home located in Hialeah at 6 o’clock p.m. His burial will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at Miami Memorial Park located in Kendall at 2 o’clock p.m. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home if desired or donations can be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
